Our Solution Engineers, Launch Engineers & Product Consultants allow us to progress while acting as a failsafe.

Connor Trendov was the first to deliver to Full Quota in each of the past 2 quarters, and more impressively, the only fully-ramped New Business AE across all of WECan to deliver above quota across all 4 product lines in q2 - plus, payments, installments, and retail.

The main drivers of his success include his consistent work ethic, his focus on continuous process improvement, and the belief he has that his outcomes are directly correlated to the ownership he has on his inputs.

With all of that said, his biggest contribution this year has come in the form of leadership.

From formally mentoring 2 of our newest hires & informally mentoring many others, to taking lead on team-wide enablement discussions, to identifying critical upskilling opportunities, to running point on an upcoming org-wide Pitch Perfect Challenge, he exemplifies what it means to Make Each Other Better at Shopify.

In Q2, Ryan was 1 of 2 Core XS reps who hit their quota in all 5 products.

With only 2 quarters under his belt, Ryan has emerged as a top performer in all XS, but it's what he does outside of his attainment that makes him special.

Ryan has an innate ability and desire to figure things out. New product releases, changes in policies, Capital SME, new positioning and outbound cadences - Ryan doesn't need any instructions to dive in head first, learn, and most importantly, teach others.

With a shout out from almost everyone on his team, and through his positive energy, team work, and humour, he is a staple for team culture and very deserving of this award.

Jenn closed 3 deals in Q2 (Dolls Kill, Dollar Shave Club, Title Boxing) resulting in $409M adding to her total of $532M in the 1st half.

Not only is she closing partnerships with great logos that show we’re enterprise ready but she’s helping sales teams across segments and regions get better with trainings on how to build ROI, etc. Jenn’s sets the bar for sales mastery.

Christina has been a contributing member to many webinars while most recently project managing 3 of our upcoming webinars! She's been coordinating with multiple cross functional teams to get this done while also migrating the Emerging-Shared team to a new webinar platform.

In addition to all of that she contributed to the Proactive Outreach project (a new initiative) and helping set it up while continuously providing impactful conversations with merchants and receiving praise from those who are receiving it.

Jessica has been really creating so much impact for Merchant Success over the last quarter, while juggling a very complex book of multiple Optimizing accounts.

In Q2, Jessica was top of the list in number and $ value of closed cross sell opps with highlight for her help in closing a $38M deal in June, representing 47% of the amount of total opps closed in June.

She was also a major player in making sure resources were accurate, timely and available to all of MS for the Colorado Retail Delivery Fee. Jessica continues to look for more 1:many impact opportunities - with her most recent commitment of becoming one of the Basecamp Champions. She continues to be seen as a kick ass MSM among MS leadership, her peers, and many other cross functional teams.

The high care she brings to her merchants, team, MS, and beyond make her very deserving of this nomination for the third quarter in a row.

Julia is a consistent rock for the optimizing team and is always thinking about how to make things better for her teammates.

Last quarter she launched Account Plan sessions for the team to collaborate on their most complex and strategic merchants. She built a thoughtful and strategic process for running the sessions, which has helped uplevel the team greatly.

Julia also has always maintained consistently high WDGLL metrics for her 30+ large merchants. And has recent wins with Pleasing (Harry Styles brand) and Mary Ruth organics, two large and complex merchants. A rockstar MSM + a dream teammate!

Shelby has had an inspiring career with Shopify and made significant impact throughout her journey.

Having been in Support, an MSM, and a Launch Engineer, she has taken her experience and expertise and applied it to solve complex technical requests in her new role as a Senior Product Consultant.

Shelby has taken on more than 4x the number of requests compared to her peers, 5x more requests in complex Key Accounts, helped the onboarding of a new Consultant, and acted as a strong mentor for her peers as the only Senior Product Consultant.

Chris’s career at Shopify reflects his merchant obsession and deep platform knowledge!

Starting as an MSM and advancing to Senior MSM with a large technical book of business, Chris joined our launch team just 9 months ago and we immediately felt his impact!

Chris continually ups his game most recently crushing our level 3 tech services graphql course all while taking on Key Accounts and stretching his comfort zone by solving complex questions from fast moving Merchants!

Chris is always exploring new ideas so we can increase our team’s impact.
He has been leading our weekly team upskilling / learning sessions and created efficiencies and processes ( workflows ) that have improved our team collaboration and problem solving!

Chris has been integral in helping shape, mentor and evolve our team into a cohesive and supportive group that works and learns together!
